Blazek helped the Gannon men's basketball team gain a split at the 30th annual Gary Miller Classic hosted by the Golden Knights last weekend at the Hammermill Center. The junior guard averaged 13.5 points, four assists, 3.5 rebounds and two steals during the two-game format. As a result, he was named to the all-tournament team for the second consecutive year after being named the 2012 Gary Miller Classic Most Outstanding Player. Blazek reached double digits during both games last weekend. He began the tournament with 17 points, five rebounds and four steals against Le Moyne. The Erie, Pa., native then added 10 points and five assists during a 55-54 victory against Alderson Broaddus. Blazek has reached double digits in scoring three times during four games and has hit at least two three-pointers during all four games this season. In addition, he moved into Gannon's all-time top 10 in steals against Le Moyne with his 117th career steal.
