Howell led the Gannon men's soccer team to a 1-1 week with a victory at Davis & Elkins (3-1) and overtime loss to Slippery Rock (4-3). Davis & Elkins was ranked fifth in the NSCAA Atlantic regional rankings while Slippery Rock is ranked 15^th nationally and second in the region. Howell iced the Davis & Elkins victory with a goal in the 88^th minute. He ended the week with two goals 2:51 apart against Slippery Rock. Howell helped Gannon erase a 2-0 deficit against the Rock with a game-tying goal at the 68:35 mark, before giving the Golden Knights a 3-2 lead at the 71:26 mark on an unbelievable individual effort. Howell dribbled the ball through three defenders before beating the goalkeeper into the left side of the goal. He moved into eighth place all-time at Gannon in career points (92).
