Morse led the Gannon women's cross country team to a runner-up finish last Saturday at the Gannon/Mercyhurst Invitational. The true freshman finished fourth with a 5k time of 20 minutes and 28.9 seconds. She tied her season-best finish, equaling her performance at the season-opening Fredonia State Invitational. Morse was Gannon’s top runner for the fifth consecutive week, beating the next Lady Knight by 32 seconds. Last Saturday's event represented Gannon's only home invitational of the season.
