Sadikovic led the Gannon men's water polo team to the Division II Championship last weekend at the Carneval Athletic Pavilion, being named Most Valuable Player in the process. The redshirt junior helped the Golden Knights post a perfect 3-0 record with victories against Salem International (15-11), McKendree (Ill.) (15-7) and Mercyhurst (16-12). The showing extended Gannon's overall win streak to nine matches. He totaled five goals, one assist and one steal during the final two matches of the weekend. Sadikovic recorded his fifth hat trick with three goals against McKendree. His scores gave the Golden Knights leads of 2-0, 8-3 and 11-3. Sadikovic followed with two goals and one assist against Mercyhurst, scoring early for a 2-1 lead and during the third quarter with Gannon on a 5-0 run. He is Gannon's second-leading scorer through 16 matches with 30 goals.
