Palka had his hand in every facet of the play book last Saturday against California (Pa.) at McConnell Family Stadium. The redshirt senior recorded eight receptions, 145 receiving yards, one receiving touchdown, nine carries, 58 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown, 203 all-purpose yards and two total touchdowns. In addition, he completed an 18-yard pass. Palka served as a quarterback during his entire collegiate career until switching this year to a multi-skilled type offensive player where he has taken snaps at wide receiver, tailback and quarterback. He reset his career-high in all-purpose yards against California (Pa.) for the third consecutive week while also set a career-high in receiving yards. Palka scored Gannon’s first two touchdowns with a 13-yard run that tied the game at seven and a 29-yard touchdown reception that pulled Gannon within 21-14. He recorded his third 100-yard receiving game of the season. Palka has generated 387 all-purpose yards during the last two games.
