King erupted for a career-high seven goals on eight shots during a 16-13 victory against Findlay last Saturday in the only action of the week for the Gannon women's lacrosse team. The junior midfielder also recorded six draw controls and three ground balls. She scored all five of Gannon’s second-half goals, out-scoring Findlay by herself 5-4 during the final 30 minutes. King opened the second half with back-to-back goals as Gannon gained control with a 13-9 edge. Leading 14-11, the Lady Knights iced the match with two more King tallies. The pair of unassisted scores pushed the lead to 16-11 with 5:03 to play. King's career-high seven goals were the most by a Lady Knight since Tessa Mitchell had that total against Bloomsburg at McConnell Family Stadium on April 10, 2016. King won six draw controls for the second time during the last three matches. In addition, she jumped three players and moved into Gannon's all-time top 20 in career points with 136. King leads Gannon in goals (14), points (18), ground balls (15), draw controls (19) and caused turnovers (3) through four matches.
