Downey completed his collegiate career with a .400 average during a four-game series against Pitt-Johnstown last weekend. The senior pinch hit during the first game of the series, before starting the final three contests in right field. He went 4-for-10 with one double, two RBIs, five total bases, a .500 slugging percentage and a .400 on-base percentage. Downey went 3-for-7 with two RBIs during the final doubleheader. His two-out RBI double in the second inning put Gannon's on the board during the first game. Downey later drove home another run with an RBI single in the seventh, cutting the deficit to 7-5. He went 2-for-4 last week with runners on base and 2-for-3 with runners in scoring position.
