Zelcs helped the No. 20 Gannon wrestling team win two of three matches last weekend at the Mid-Atlantic Duals hosted by Ashland University. Seeing his first action of the year, the redshirt junior was the only Golden Knight to win all three of his bouts last weekend. Zelcs, ranked No. 2 in NCAA Division II Super Region One and fifth in NCAA Division II at 184, was one of only two Gannon wrestlers to win bouts against No. 5 St. Cloud State. He was dominant in his return with a technical fall, a major decision and a regular season. Zelcs out-scored his three opponents 27-6. A returning All-American, Zelcs opened the week with a 2-1 victory against St. Cloud State's Dylon Braun. He followed with a 16-5 technical fall against Belmont Abbey's Jason Gulotta and a 9-0 major decision against Tiffin's Walid Boggio.
