Martino led the Gannon men’s water polo team to a 3-2 weekend and a seventh-place finish at the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Southern Division Championship last weekend. The freshman scored 15 goals during the weekend, accounting for nearly 30 percent of the Golden Knight offense. He also tallied six assists and five steals. Martino exploded for seven goals during Gannon’s 19-10 victory against Penn State Behrend. He netted three goals against both Princeton and Washington & Jefferson. For the season, Martino finished second on the team in goals (40) and fourth in assists (20) while also adding 19 steals.
