Freeman led the Gannon women's basketball team to another perfect week as the Lady Knights defeated Slippery Rock (63-39) and Clarion (91-70). Gannon is ranked No. 3 in NCAA Division II and No. 1 in the Atlantic Region. The senior guard averaged 17 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, two blocks and one steal during those two games. She reached the 20-point plateau for the sixth time this season with 22 points against Clarion. Freeman was 6-of-9 from the field, 2-of-4 from three-point range and 8-of-8 from the free throw line against the Golden Eagles. Her scoring was evenly distributed with 11 points in each half. Freeman began the week with 12 points, eight rebounds and three blocks against Slippery Rock. She has reached double digits in scoring during 18 of 26 games this season, including the last three. Freeman ranks fifth all-time at Gannon in free throws made (310), sixth in scoring (1,459), seventh in blocked shots (92), seventh in three-pointers (135), eighth in field goals (507) and 14^th in rebounds (509).
