2017-18: Captured 10 wins at 197 as a sophomore ... was one of 13 Golden Knights to reach double digits in wins ... compiled a 2-8 dual-meet record ... placed fifth at the Mount Union Invitational with a 5-2 record ... came in fourth at the Findlay Open with a 2-2 record ... recorded a pin against Bellarmine's Brett Bryant at the Mount Union Invite (1:54) ... recorded his other pin of the season against Wheeling Jesuit's Chase Logan (3:56) in the opening round of the NCAA Division II Super Regional One ... recorded a major decision win against East Stroudsburg's Daniel Makagon in a dual meet against the Warriors.
2016-17: Captured 11 victories at 197 as a true freshman … was one of 11 Golden Knights to reach double digits in wins … won three of five matches during his collegiate debut at the season-opening Mount Union Invitational … generated his first career pin against Ohio Valley’s Tyler Koreski in four minutes and 48 seconds at the Mount Union Invitational … pinned Kutztown’s Christian Jenco in four minutes and 18 seconds during his first-ever match at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships … won seven of his last 10 matches … named PSAC Wrestler of the Week after clinching Gannon’s 22-16 victory against eighth-ranked Mercyhurst with an 8-6 win against the region’s third-ranked wrestler in Wes Phipps during the second-to-last bout … finished fifth at the NCAA Division II Super Regional One with a 4-2 record … posted a 4-2 win against Tony Vezzetti of Notre Dame (Ohio) during the fifth-place bout.
High School: Wrestled for head coach Brad Greenman Jr. at Port Allegany (Pa.) High School … finished fourth at the PIAA State Championships.
Personal: Industrial Engineering major … is the son of Melynda and Greg … has one brother, Nick, who was a former wrestler at Gannon.
