Cook begins her second season as an assistant coach in 2014. She returned to the Gannon women’s lacrosse program in 2013 after a brief two-year hiatus following her playing career. Cook was a five-year standout in goal for the Lady Knights from 2006-10.
The Syracuse, N.Y., native concluded her career as a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) first-team selection. Cook was named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America and All-South Region first teams as a sophomore. She is Gannon’s all-time leader in saves with 619 which is 80 more than the next best total. Cook’s 9.13 career goals against average sits third all-time in school history.
Cook has four single-season save totals worthy of Gannon’s all-time top 15 and three within the top eight. Her career-high 162 saves as a senior ranks fifth all-time.
