Millerd enters her third season as a member of the Gannon women's lacrosse coaching staff in 2013 after being an offensive standout in the program for the previous four years. She concluded her collegiate career in 2010 as Gannon’s all-time leader in goals with 221, a mark that ranked 11th all-time in NCAA Division II. Millerd ranks fourth all-time at Gannon in points (287) and 10th in assists (66). Her 77 goals as a senior represented the second-highest single-season total in school history, falling 11 shy of the school record.

The Shortsville, N.Y., native was a four-time all-region selection, being named to the first team as a senior. Millerd was named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-America first team as a senior and the womenslacrosse.com All-America second team as sophomore. A Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete during her playing days, she also landed a spot on the All-PSAC first team as a senior and second team as a junior.

Millerd was Gannon’s leader in goals (77) and points (95) as a senior. The midfielder led the PSAC in game-winning goals (6) while ranking second in goals per match (4.05) and fourth in points per match (5.00). Nationally, she was the best among NCAA Division II players in goals. She ranked fifth in points, 19th in caused turnovers per match (1.68), 49th in assists (18) and 67th in ground balls per match (2.58).
