Trocki begins her 13th season as an assistant coach for the Gannon cross country teams. The former Gannon athlete has been instrumental in the training of Gannon’s runners for over a decade.

Trocki’s name has been commonplace among the coaching circles in Erie, Pa. In addition to her position at Gannon, she most recently served as the head basketball coach at Harborcreek (Pa.) High School from 2000 until her first daughter was born in 2007. She was named Erie County League (ECL) Coach of the Year in 2002-03. At Harborcreek, she established youth programs such as the Huskie Pup Club and a competitive team consisting of fifth and sixth graders. Trocki started a competitive summer program, as well as directing several camps and clinics. Prior to her hiring as a varsity coach, she was a volunteer assistant for the Harborcreek junior varsity team for one season.

The Brocton, N.Y., native began her coaching career as a graduate assistant for the Gannon women’s basketball program from 1997-99. She was responsible for scouting opponents, coordinating film exchange, assisting practices and individual workouts and overseeing the Junior Lady Knight Club. The Lady Knights averaged 15 victories during her two seasons on the staff.

Trocki has also served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Gannon women’s lacrosse program during the last four seasons. She has been a private basketball instructor since 1996, coaching students from Erie and Western New York with a focus on shooting, individual skills and the mental concepts of the game.

Considered one of the best athletes in recent Gannon history, Trocki was a three-sport athlete during her playing days at Gannon. She was a four-year letterwinner for the basketball program and played water polo for two seasons, serving as the team captain her senior year. She was also a member of the cross country team, where she was a captain and Gannon's top runner.

Trocki ranks 17th all-time in Gannon women’s basketball history with 1,057 career points. The former guard is third all-time in free throw percentage (.781), fifth in three-point field goal attempts (411), sixth in three-point field goals (143), ninth in three-point field goal percentage (.348) and 17th in rebounds (464). She was a two-time GLIAC All-Academic selection and landed a spot on the All-GLIAC second team as a senior. She also served as a team captain her final two seasons.

Trocki has been employed as a high school teacher in the Harborcreek School District since 1998. She resides in Erie with her daughters Teghan (3) and Jadynn Rae (1).
