Meagher begins her second season as a member of the Gannon coaching staff, but she is no stranger to the program. A four-year letterwinner at Gannon, she helped the Lady Knights win 46 matches from 2006-09.
The Liverpool, N.Y., native played in 51 career matches, starting 48. Meagher was a starting defender every year except during the 2007 campaign when an injury limited her to three matches.
Meagher recorded five goals, one assist, six points, 107 ground balls, 25 draw controls and 46 caused turnovers during her career. She picked up a career-high 45 grounds balls as senior. Gannon was among the nation's leaders in draw controls, scoring margin, scoring defense, caused turnovers per match and grounds balls per match every season during Meagher's career.
