2023: Enjoyed outstanding freshman campaign while starting all 47 games eventually taking over at shortstop … finished fourth on the team with a .295 average … was third in hits with 41 and led team with 139 at bats … tied for fourth in runs with 22 and was third in RBIs with 23 … had six doubles, two triples and three home runs … led team with 11 stolen bases in 14 attempts … had 10 multiple hit games, including a 6-for-7 showing in a doubleheader at Edinboro (4/11/23) … had three hits in both games, driving in three runs in the first game and four in the second … had a double and home run in the nightcap … went 4-for-5 with a run batted in vs. Bridgeport (2/28/23).
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-sport standout at Karns City High School … earned three letters in volleyball and track & field and two in softball while participating in each three all four years … played softball for head coach Roger King … was a first-team All-KSAC selection as a junior and senior and earned second team All-State accolades as an infielder as a senior … hit .477 with a .815 slugging percentage and .570 OBP … had eight doubles, a triple and four home runs while driving in 28 runs and stealing 13 bases … played for the Steel City Athletics travel team, hitting .358 with 16 doubles, a triple, and 11 home runs for 58 RBIs with 80 runs scored in 76 games ... in track & field earned All-KSAC 1st Team honors in the javelin and 4x100 Relay (2019, 2021, 2022) … took fifth place in the javelin at the PIAA Track and Field Championships in 2021 … outstanding in the classroom, as well … was the school Valedictorian with a 4.95 GPA … High Honors all four years … president of National Honor Society … received The Challenge Program STEM and Academic Excellence awards (2020, 2022).
