Piquet is expected to become a four-year starter in 2010 ... has the ability to play second base, first base, outfield and designated player.

2009: Started every game at either second base, shortstop or centerfield … produced a .295 slugging percentage … drove home a run seven times in 16 at-bats with a runner on third base and less than two outs … had five multiple-hit games and three multiple-RBI games … produced a four-game hitting streak April 2-5 … opened the season with a 3-for-4 showing against Wilmington, scoring twice and driving in one run … ripped two doubles in the season opener … recorded five hits in 10 at-bats during the first three games … scored five times and drove in four runs during that stretch … drove in five runs and scored twice during a doubleheader against Slippery Rock … had multiple hits against Wilmington, Wheeling Jesuit, Seton Hill, Mercyhurst and Edinboro.

2008: Started every game … ranked 24th among GLIAC players in batting average (.324) ... had 47 hits, including 10 doubles … recorded a .377 on-base percentage … compiled 11 multiple-hit games and two multiple-RBI games … ended the season with a team-high 10-game hitting streak ... produced a .545 average (18-33) during the final 10 games ... hit .309 (25-81) with runners on base ... reached base 39 percent (11-28) of the time when leading off an inning ... was 7-for-12 with a runner on third base and less than two outs ... homered and doubled as part of a three-hit, two-RBI day against Mercyhurst March 26 … singled, doubled, drove in two runs and scored three more against Clarion April 22 ... finished the Clarion doubleheader 5-for-9 with three runs and three RBI.

2007: Saw action in 50 games as a true freshman, starting 41 ... named to the GLIAC honorable-mention team ... drove in 38 runs, the 15th-highest single-season total in school history ... had 10 multiple-hit games and nine multiple-RBI games ... produced a seven-game hitting streak ... hit .329 (25-76) with runners in on base, .364 (20-55) with runners in scoring position and .327 (16-49) with two outs ... went 4-for-4 with seven RBI during a 10-2 victory against Mercyhurst.

High School: Played for head coach Tami Marlatt at Newton Falls (Ohio) High School ... named to the all-conference first-team three times ... was a four-year letterwinner ... named team captain as a senior ... was a member of the National Honor Society and honor roll.
