Biography

Brickman returns as one of Gannon’s starting pitchers … has shown the ability to come into games and be successful during save situations … enters the 2010 season seventh all-time at Gannon in strikeouts (298), 10th in victories (26) and 10th in innings pitched (318).

2009: Made 21 appearances on the mound, starting 14 … ranked 27th among all NCAA Division II pitchers in strikeouts per seven innings (8.1) and 53rd in saves (2) … finished 10th among PSAC pitchers in ERA (2.10) … named PSAC Pitcher of the Week April 13 after going 2-0 with a 0.93 ERA in two starts … began the week by allowing two earned runs during a 5-4 10-inning victory against Mercyhurst and then recorded her first shutout of the season with a 13-0 verdict over Slippery Rock … led Gannon in ERA, appearances, shutouts (3), saves, strikeouts (115) and opponent batting average (.235) … limited right-handed hitters to a .220 (73-332) average … reached double digits in strikeouts twice … punched out a season-high 11 hitters during a 2-1 victory against Seton Hill … recorded 10 strikeouts and allowed no earned runs during a 6-1 victory against Kentucky Wesleyan … did not allow an earned run despite dropping a 1-0 decision in 10 innings at Mansfield … tossed 11 scoreless innings during a doubleheader sweep of Slippery Rock.
