Biography
Should compete in IM, breaststroke and freestyle events.
2009-10: Was part of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that broke the school record with a time of seven minutes and 3.44 seconds, erasing the record set one year earlier by his team … earned All-PSAC honors by placing third in the breaststroke.
2008-09: Was part of the 800-yard freestyle relay team that broke the school record (7:03.79), but the mark was broken again one year later.
High School: Swam for head coach David Kutrufis at Bethel Park (Pa.) High School … was a two-year team captain … qualified for the district and state championships … finished second in the 100 breaststroke at the 2007 district championship.
Personal: English/Secondary Education major … son of Betty … is a member of the Gannon Student-Athlete Advisory Committee … listed in “Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges” … is a member of the Gannon Dean’s List.
