Washek returns as a starter in Gannon’s midfield … ranks 12th among Gannon players in matches started (52) and 14th in matches played (54) since 2002.
 
2011: Was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … received the Division II Athletics Directors Association (DII ADA) Academic Achievement Award … started all 18 matches … named to the All-PSAC second team … finished fourth on the team in goals (4) and points (9) … netted his first goal against Lock Haven … scored Gannon’s lone goal against East Stroudsburg … added one goal while assisting on another during a 3-1 win over Millersville … broke a scoreless tie against rival Mercyhurst with a game-winning goal in the 81st minute … put 15 of his 39 shots on goal. 

2010: Played in all 18 matches, making 17 starts … was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … finished sixth on the team in shots (26) and seventh in assists (2) … scored only goal of the season against Millersville … recorded assists against Bloomsburg and Seton Hill … put eight of his 26 shots on goal.

2009: Played in all 18 games last season, starting 17 ... was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete ... named PSAC West Freshman of the Year ... selected to the All-PSAC West first team ... started every game as a true freshman except the season opener against Urbana ... finished fourth on the team in goals (2) and assists (4) and fifth on the team in points (8) ... scored first career goal at California (Pa.) ... second career goal came in following game at Lock Haven ... recorded four assists on the season including first of career in season opener.

High School: Played for head coach Sam Tojaga at Cathedral Prep (Pa.) High School … served as a team captain during his senior season … was part of four Region 6 championships and three District 10 championships … received the Presidential Academic Excellence award … was a member of the National Honor Society.
