2024: Pool capped his Golden Knight career with another
strong season in 2024... earning multiple postseason honors for his performance both on the field and in the classroom... He was named to the PSAC West First Team for the second consecutive year... and earned D2CCA All-Atlantic Region First Team honors for the second straight season... Pool also collected CSC Academic All-District honors... and was named CSC Academic All-America Third Team... He earned United Soccer Coaches Division II All-Atlantic Region Second Team honors... and was also selected to the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Second Team... Pool had a breakout 2023 season with 17 goals and First Team D2CCA All-America honors... In 2024... he remained a key contributor in the Gannon midfield... appearing and starting in all 21 matches... and finishing the season with five goals and 10 assists for 20 points... His 10 assists ranked third in the PSAC... and tied for 13th nationally...Pool concluded his Golden Knight career with 24 goals and 23 assists for 71 points...In the classroom... Pool earned a 3.74 undergraduate GPA... and carried a perfect 4.00 GPA as a graduate student majoring in Business Analytics...Season highlights included four shots at Bloomsburg on November 17... two shots on goal at Pitt.-Johnstown on November 8... two goals against Post on September 25... two assists against California (PA) on October 16... and a season-high 92 minutes played in the NCAA Tournament match against Franklin Pierce on November 24…Pool’s leadership and consistent play helped fuel Gannon’s 14-4-3 season in 2024... which included an NCAA Division II Tournament appearance.
2023: Was a standout both on the pitch and in the classroom … named to the D2CCA All-America First Team and the D2CCA All-Atlantic Region First Team, along with landing spots on the United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region second team and the All-PSAC West first team … in the classroom was selected to the CSC Academic All-America® Second Team, the CSC Academic All-District® Team, and the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Second Team, along with being voted to the PSAC Fall Top Ten … after scoring just two goals in his career the previous three seasons he finished with 17 goals and six assists for 40 points while playing in all 22 matches, with 21 starts … tied for the PSAC and Gannon lead with 17 points while tied for fifth in Division II in goals scored while and seventh in points … the 17 goals is tied for 13th in a season at Gannon … had four game-winning goals … had a three-goal hat trick against Slippery Rock (10/25/23) and Pitt-Johnstown (11/3/23) … added a pair of goals at California (Pa.) (9/30/23) … scored Gannon’s first goal in 2-1 win over Charleston (WV) to win and Atlantic Region and reach Elite Eight … was named the PSAC West Athlete of the Week once.
2022: Played in 18 matches (starting 14) for a total of 1095 minutes ... Tallied career-highs in goals (two), assists (three), points (seven), and shots (22, nine on target) ... Scored first collegiate and game-winning goal in 1-0 win over Wilmington (DE) (9/4/22) ... Dished out an assist (seventh career) in 4-3 victory over Seton Hill (11/1/22) ... Played a season-high 81 minutes and fired a season-high three shots (two on goal) against Dist. Columbia (9/14/22).
2021: Played in six matches (starting five) for a total of 409 minutes ... Assisted on two goals during the season (on the game-winner at home vs. Ashland in the 2-1 win on Sept. 10) and also on the game-tying goal vs. UDC on Sept. 12) ... Played a season-high 81 minutes in the home opener vs. Tiffin.
2020: Appeared in six matches with five starts for Gannon … Made his debut against St. Bonaventure (2/19) … Logged 416 minutes on the season … Had two assists for two total points … Finished the season with four assists landing two on target … Logged season-high 101 minutes in 2-1 overtime victory at Roberts Wesleyan (3/20).
