Frynkewicz is expected to compete for playing time as an outfielder in 2014 … is a two-sport athlete, competing also with the Gannon acrobatics and tumbling team.

2013: Saw action in 15 games as a pinch hitter or pinch runner … named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete … received the Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award … earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar-Athlete honors ... ripped a hit as a pinch hitter and later scored against Ursuline … scored runs during five different games, including three consecutive appearances against Ursuline, Edinboro and Lock Haven.

2012: Played in 20 games during her first season in a Gannon uniform, starting one … named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … received the Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award … had two hits in four at-bats with runners on base and with runners in scoring position … scored her first career run as a pinch runner against St. Anselm (N.H.) during Gannon’s spring trip … made her first career start against Cedarville, going 1-for-2 with one RBI during a 10-2 victory … finished 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI during a win at Point Park … scored five of her seven runs as a pinch runner.

High School: Played for head coach Jim Huwar at Ambridge Area (Pa.) High School … was a two-sport athlete, lettering four times in both softball and bowling … received the Presidential Youth Service award … was a member of the honor roll every year.

Personal: Biology/Pre-Med major … is the daughter of Karen and Donald ... named to the Gannon Dean’s List … is a member of the Lambda Sigma Honor Society and the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society.
