2024: Soares made an immediate impact for the Golden Knights in 2024, turning in a strong freshman season and earning multiple postseason honors… He was named to the PSAC West First Team and received All-Atlantic Region First Team recognition… Soares quickly established himself as a key contributor in Gannon’s attack, appearing in 21 games with 10 starts, and bringing pace and creativity to the lineup…His season highlights included six shots against Pitt-Johnstown on October 19, four shots on goal against Slippery Rock on October 23, two goals at California (PA) on October 26, and an assist at Lock Haven on November 2… He also recorded a season-high 90 minutes played in that same match against Lock Haven. Soares’ emergence was a crucial part of Gannon’s successful 2024 season, which saw the Golden Knights finish with a record of 14-4-3 and reach the NCAA Division II Tournament.
