2024:  Dorner made an immediate impact as a freshman on the Golden Knights’ defensive unit during the 2024 season… He earned the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week honors on October 21 for his standout performance that week...Dorner appeared in 20 games, starting in 15 of them, and contributed effectively on both ends of the field…His season highlights included one shot and one goal against California (PA) on October 16 and one shot on goal in that exact match… He also recorded an assist against West Chester on November 15 and played a season-high 97 minutes in the NCAA Tournament match against Franklin Pierce on November 24. Additionally, he recorded a shot against Slippery Rock on October 23…Dorner played a key role in anchoring a Gannon defense that allowed just 19 goals across 21 matches and posted 10 shutouts… As a result, the Golden Knights finished the season with an overall record of 14-4-3 and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament.
