Lucas is expected to compete as a base for the third consecutive season in 2018.

2017: Served as a base … was part of a Gannon program that qualified both the all-girl and co-ed teams for the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate Cheer and Dance National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida with the best preliminary finishes in program history … helped the co-ed squad finished fourth nationally in the Small Co-Ed Division II with a 91.30 score, producing its best national finish in program history … was part of an all-girl squad that tied its best national finish in program history, placing fifth in the Intermediate All-Girl Division II with a 91.90 mark.

2016: Competed at the base position as a true freshman … was part of a Gannon program that finish fifth in the co-ed division at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate Cheer and Dance National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida … helped the all-girl squad barely missed a berth in the finals after finishing second in the Challenge Cup.

High School: Cheered for head coach Ashley Contristano … helped Hempfield finish seventh overall at the regional cheer competition, advancing to the state competition … was a member of the first competitive team to attend the state cheerleading competition … served as a varsity team captain … named to the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) All-America Cheerleading Team … was a Pin-It Forward recipient … served as a member of the UCA Northeast staff … was a recipient of the CNS Health and Education Foundation Healthcare Scholarship … named to the honor roll … completed the Westinghouse Science Honors Institute Program … received the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists Award of Excellence … listed among the Congress of Future Medical Leaders … was a recipient of the Deno Castelli Charitable Scholarship Fund.

Personal: Middle Level Education/Mathematics major … is the daughter of Dawn and Scott … serves as a member of the Gannon University Society of Physician Assistant Students (GUSPAS).
