Mason is expected to compete as a base for the third consecutive season in 2018.

2017: Served as a back … was part of a Gannon program that qualified both the all-girl and co-ed teams for the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate Cheer and Dance National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida with the best preliminary finishes in program history … helped the co-ed squad finished fourth nationally in the Small Co-Ed Division II with a 91.30 score, producing its best national finish in program history … was part of an all-girl squad that tied its best national finish in program history, placing fifth in the Intermediate All-Girl Division II with a 91.90 mark.

2016: Competed at the base position as a true freshman … was part of a Gannon program that finish fifth in the co-ed division at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate Cheer and Dance National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida … helped the all-girl squad barely missed a berth in the finals after finishing second in the Challenge Cup.

High School: Cheered for head coaches Demie Barker at Girard (Pa.) High School and Karen Kaluzny for XCel Athletics … named Best All-Around Cheerleader … served as a captain for the sideline football cheerleading team … earned an all-america award at the NCA camp … named Most Determined Athlete and Hardest Worker … helped Xcel Athletics win eight national championship awards … was part of a fully-paid bid to the U.S. Finals … helped Xcel Athletics finish 15th at the Summit National Championship … was a member of the National Honor Society ... named to the honor roll all four years … served as the Senior Class Secretary.

Personal: Nursing major … is the daughter of Shannon and Joe … has one brother.
