Cottone is expected to compete in the back as a senior in 2018 after serving as a base during the last three years.

2017: Competed as a base … was part of a Gannon program that qualified both the all-girl and co-ed teams for the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate Cheer and Dance National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida with the best preliminary finishes in program history … helped the co-ed squad finished fourth nationally in the Small Co-Ed Division II with a 91.30 score, producing its best national finish in program history … was part of an all-girl squad that tied its best national finish in program history, placing fifth in the Intermediate All-Girl Division II with a 91.90 mark.

2016: Served as a base … was part of a Gannon program that finish fifth in the co-ed division at the NCA Collegiate Cheer and Dance National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida … helped the all-girl squad barely missed a berth in the finals after finishing second in the Challenge Cup.

2015: Competed at the base position as a true freshman … helped Gannon advance to the All-Girl Division II finals at the NCA Collegiate National Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida, before finishing sixth in the nation.

High School: Cheered for head coach Sami Jo Crivellaro at Parkland (Pa.) High School … earned three varsity letters … was a two-sport athlete, letting once with the varsity track and field team … helped Parkland advance to the semifinals of the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) State Cheer Competition … received the Sportsmanship Award at the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Camp … was a member of the honor roll … named a Star Student.

Personal: Early Childhood/Special Education major … is the daughter of Deborah and Paul … has two sisters.
