Brosius will compete for a starting position in the outfield … transferred from Niagara County (N.Y.) Community College prior to the 2009-10 academic year.

2011: Saw action in 25 games, starting 17 … finished fourth on the team in batting average (.294) and fifth in on-base percentage (.368) … committed only one error in 26 fielding opportunities … hit .306 (11-36) against right-handers and .385 (10-26) with runners on base … recorded five multiple-hit games … went 2-for-4 with one RBI during his second action of the season, helping Gannon post a 3-2 victory against St. Xavier (Ill.) … ended the season by going 5-for-8 during a doubleheader split against California (Pa.) … was 2-for-2 with one RBI in the opener, before going 3-for-3 in the season finale … finished 2-for-2 with two RBIs during a 6-3 victory against Clarion … added another multiple-hit game against West Virginia Wesleyan, recording two hits in three at-bats … was errorless during his final 16 appearances.

At Niagara County Community College: Played for head coach Matt Clingersmith ... started in center field as a freshman and sophomore … was a two-time all-conference selection … hit over .400 both seasons … was part of back-to-back Fall Regional Championships … led Niagara County to a second-place regional finish during the 2008 spring season with an 18-15 record … helped Niagara County win the 2009 Region 3 Championship en route to an appearance in the Junior College World Series … was part of a Niagara County team that finish with a 35-7 record.

High School: Played for head coach Pete Grenel at North Tonawanda (N.Y.) High School … was a two-year letterwinner … named Defensive Player of the Year as a senior … earned all-conference honors as a second baseman … hit .450 as a senior.

Personal: Business Administration major … has two sisters and one brother … son of Charlene and Todd.
