2025: Atwell had a breakout season in 2025... earning her first career PSAC postseason honor with a selection to the PSAC West First Team... She was also named AVCA All-American Honorable Mention... earned a spot on the AVCA All-Atlantic Region First Team... and was selected to the D2CCA All-Atlantic Region Second Team...A dominant force at the net, Atwell played in 117 sets and started all 34 matches... She totaled 266 kills, ranking third on the team while averaging 2.27 kills and 2.91 points per set... She ranked third on the team with 340 total points... and finished the year with a .329 hitting percentage... Defensively, she led the Golden Knights with 28 solo blocks and 108.0 total blocks... Atwell notched a career-high 19.5 points and a season-high nine total blocks in a 3-1 win over Slippery Rock on October 11... and posted 15 kills while hitting .310 in Gannon’s NCAA Atlantic Region Semifinal win over Pitt-Johnstown on November 21... proving to be one of the most impactful two-way players on the floor all season.

2024: Enjoyed a standout sophomore season as a key defensive piece up front ... Second on the team in solo blocks (32), block assists (115) and total blocks (147) ... Was also a factor on the offensive side of the ball, notching 160 kills for the season ... Tallied ten total blocks against Daemen on Oct. 15th. ... Recorded a career high 13 kills against UPJ on Oct. 5th. ... Three matches with double digit kills and seven matches with seven or more ... Had a career best .615 hitting percentage against Ursuline on Sept. 13. 

2023: Atwell made a big impact as freshman in the middle of Gannon's front line. Played in 31 matches while making 28 starts. ... She led the Golden Knights with 33 solo blocks, 80 block assists, and 113 total blocks. Had 18 matches with at least four total blocks. ... Had a season-high eight total blocks at Slippery Rock on Sept. 18 and at Edinboro on Nov. 7. ... Collected a season-best seven kills and had a season-high .600 hitting percentage against Edinboro on Oct. 13. Also compiled a season-best 11 points in that match. 

High School: She was a four-year member of the Mars Area High School volleyball team and the Mars basketball team. ... She made the Pennsylvania Volleyball Coaches Association Class 3A All-State Team as a senior.

Personal: Business major ... daughter of Carissa and Matthew Atwell ... has one brother (Owen).
