Gannon University Athletics

Swann is expected to compete for playing time at guard upon learning the Gannon system. He last played at South Suburban (Ill.) Community College and will have two years of eligibility remaining. Swann spent one season at NCAA Division I Montana State, but redshirted during the 2008-09 campaign.

At South Suburban Community College: Played for head coach John Pigatti ... named MVP of the 2008 Regional Tournament ... helped South Suburban win two regional championships en route to a pair of national tournament appearances ... named to the 2007 regional all-tournament team ... was part of a program that was nationally ranked during both of his seasons, rising as high as fourth in the final 2007 NJCAA Division II national rankings ... led South Suburban to a 29-4 record as a sophomore, averaging 14.1 points and 3.3 assists.

High School: Played for head coach Hali Robinson at Brookhaven (Ohio) High School ... earned all-region and all-city accolades ... led Brookhaven to four city championships, four district championships and three regional championships ... was part of a state runner-up team ... graduated with honors ... was a member of the honor roll.

Personal: Communication Arts major ... has three sisters.
