Expected to compete in sprint freestyle events for the second consecutive season.
2011-12: Participated in freestyle, breaststroke and butterfly events … recorded top-four finishes both times he swam the 50-yard freestyle, placing third (24.02) at the Le Moyne Dual Meet and fourth (24.02) at the Lake Erie Dual Meet … added a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly (58.15) at the Allegheny Dual Meet … helped the 400-yard freestyle relay team capture a silver medal against NCAA Division I Canisius with a time of three minutes and 25.94 seconds … finished third both times he swam with the 400-yard medley relay team at the Lake Erie and Allegheny Dual Meets … was part of five top-five relay finishes.
2010-11: Produced a pair of individual top-three finishes in the 50-yard freestyle, placing second (23.12) against Fredonia State and third (23.19) against Penn State Behrend … helped relay teams record five top-three finishes, including two runner-up trophies at the Westminster (Pa.) Relay Meet … was part of a bronze medal in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:27.06) against NCAA Division I Canisius.
High School: Swam for head coach Kevin Jenkins at Rondebosch Boys High School in Cape Town, South Africa … was a two-year member of the Western Province swim team … helped Rondebosch win three state championships.
