2012-13: Participated in 10 different individual events as a true freshman … recorded a PSAC-qualifying time in the 200-yard backstroke at the Wooster Invitational with a time of two minutes and 3.98 seconds … placed fourth in the 100-yard backstroke (59.79) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:12.30) against Lake Erie … recorded five top-five finishes … competed with teams in nine different relay events … helped the 200-yard freestyle relay team capture gold against California (Pa.), swimming the second leg that helped produce a total 1:34.69 time … was part of a 3x100 backstroke relay team that finished second at the Westminster (Pa.) Relay Meet with a time of two minutes and 48.10 seconds … recorded six top-three relay finishes.

High School: Swam for head coach Dan Johnson at Geneseo Central (N.Y.) High School … lettered in swimming … served as a co-captain during his sophomore, junior and senior campaigns … selected to the All-Livingston County All-Star Team as a junior and senior … was a two-time team MVP … named Senior Swimmer of the Year by the Livingston County Athletic Association … holds the school record in the 100-yard backstroke … selected to the All-County Jazz Band as a junior and senior … was a member of the National Junior Honor Society and the National Honor Society … received the Livingston County Chamber of Commerce, the Alstom Power Inc. and the Alstom Benevolent Club scholarships.
