Tazzi is Gannon’s lone 197-pound returner … trying to qualify for the national championships for the first time since his freshman season.

2007-08: Posted a 6-4 record in limited action at 197 … named to the Academic All-America honorable-mention team … posted dual victories against Shippensburg, Limestone (S.C.), and Seton Hill … won two of four matches at the NCAA Division II East Regional, posting one victory via a pin.

2006-07: Redshirted ... posted a 4-1 record while wrestling unattached at invitationals and opens.

2005-06: Was second on the team in victories (19) ... named to the NCAA Division II Academic All-America second team ... opened the dual season with victories against Mercyhurst, Augustana, and Fort Hays State ... finished second at the Ashland Open with a 3-1 record.

2004-05: Was one of four Gannon wrestlers to advance to the NCAA Division II Championships, finishing 1-2 at 165 ... placed fourth at the NCAA Division II East Regional with a 2-2 record ... was one of three Golden Knights to reach the 20-win plateau ... finished third on the team in victories (20) ... earned first career dual victory against Kutztown at the East Coast Duals ... finished third at the Ashland Simonson Invitational with a 3-1 record at 174.

High School: Wrestled for head coach Jim Morsiette at Anchor Bay (Mich.) High School.
