Scandrett is expected to compete for playing time mainly in the post. The senior transferred to Gannon prior to the 2006-07 season from NCAA Division I Radford of the Big South Conference. The 6’5” forward is considered one of Gannon’s best athletes and can play a variety of positions. He is expected to be a main contributor to the Golden Knights during his senior campaign.
Junior Season: Played in 33 games, starting five ... was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete ... reached double digits in scoring three times ... scored a season-high 12 points against Daemen and Urbana ... started five consecutive games January 3-14, averaging 23 minutes during that stretch ... averaged 7.6 points and 2.6 rebounds through the first nine games ... netted 11 points against Kutztown ... reached double digits in minutes played during each of the first 16 games, averaging 19.2 minutes during that stretch ... scored at least six points on 12 occasions, including six consecutive contests to start the season.
Sophomore Season: Saw action in 29 games, averaging 6.5 minutes off the bench ... performed at a high level in the classroom, being named to the NABC Honors Court, reserved for student-athletes with at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average ... jumped onto the Gannon scene with 11 points and nine rebounds in the season opener against Penn State Greater Allegheny ... both marks were season-highs ... hit 5-of-10 field goal attempts, including 1-of-2 shots from three-point range ... reached double digits in playing minutes five times ... hit a second three-pointer against Point Park in the Gary Miller Classic championship game.
At Radford: Played in 23 games with two starts as a freshman ... scored 18 points and grabbed 20 rebounds while averaging 6.1 minutes per game ... was a member of the Dean’s List.
High School: Played for head coach Mike Everete at Northwest Guilford (N.C.)
