Harris will compete for playing time on the wing after seeing action in the majority of games during his first two collegiate seasons off the bench. The Erie, Pa., native redshirted as a freshman, but has played in 45 games the last two seasons. The 6’4” guard brings offensive firepower and a tremendous work ethic to the Golden Knights. Harris has a knack for scoring and brings great passion to the court. He has the potential to develop into a scorer for the Knights.
Sophomore Season: Saw action in 26 games ... was one of nine Golden Knights to play in at least 26 contests ... scored a season-high eight points in eight minutes of action against Lock Haven ... was 2-of-4 from the field and 3-of-4 from the free throw line against the Bald Eagles ... made his only three-point field goal attempt against Lock Haven ... recorded five points and seven rebounds during the first two games against Urbana and Lake Erie ... scored in nine different games.
Freshman Season: Played in 19 games during his first collegiate season ... named to the GLIAC All-Academic team ... began the season with four points and two rebounds in the season opener against Penn State Greater Allegheny ... hit 2-of-6 shots against the Nittany Lions ... added two points against Drury (Mo.) in the NCAA Tournament first round ... scored final two points against Saginaw Valley State during the regular season ... reached double digits in playing minutes against Penn State Greater Allegheny and Wayne State.
2006-07 Season: Redshirted.
High School: Played for head coach Brian Flanagan at Cathedral Prep (Pa.) High School ... averaged 17.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals as a senior ... named Region 6 Player of the Year ... earned All-State third-team and All-District first-team accolades ... scored a season-high 33 points against Chester in the prestigious McDonald’s Classic ... selected to the City-County All-Star game as a starter.
