2015-16: Competed at 149 and 157 as a true freshman … wrestled his first eight career matches at 157, before competed at 149 during his final 12 bouts … won eight of 12 matches in the 149-pound division … secured his first career victory during the opening bout of the Jamestown Jayhawk Open, defeating Brockport State’s Zack Bendick 13-7 … finished third at the Jamestown Jayhawk Open with a 5-1 record … won his final four matches at the Jamestown Jayhawk Open, including another win against Bendick during the third-place match … recorded his first career technical fall and major decision at the Jamestown Jayhawk Open … raised his hand during his first career dual match, posting a 5-3 victory against West Liberty’s Josh Cornell … was Gannon’s 149-pound representative at the NCAA Division II Super Regional One, splitting four bouts … recorded his first career pin against Shippensburg’s Cody Blankenship in 2:32 at the regional championships.

High School: Wrestled for head coach Chris Kriebel at Green (Ohio) High School … qualified for the state championships … captured the league championship … finished runner-up at the Tournament of Champions … named a Scholar-Athlete.

Personal: Physical Therapy major … has one brother … is the son of Tammy, Alexis and Shawn.
