Payne is expected to compete as a base for the second consecutive season in 2016.

2015: Served as a base … helped Gannon advance to the All-Girl Division II finals at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate National Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida, before finishing sixth in the nation.

High School: Cheered for head coaches Shannon Klosky and Ashley Contristano at Hempfield (Pa.) Area High School … received the All-American Cheerleading Award at the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Camp … named to the honor roll during all four years … won the Leadership Award at back-to-back UCA camps … helped Hempfield advance to regionals.

Personal: Nursing major … has one sister and one brother … is the daughter of Louisa and Rich.
