Skirtich is expected to compete as a flyer for the second consecutive season in 2017.

2016: Competed as a flyer … was part of a Gannon program that finish fifth in the co-ed division at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Collegiate Cheer and Dance National Championships in Daytona Beach, Florida … helped the all-girl squad barely missed a berth in the finals after finishing second in the Challenge Cup.

High School: Cheered for head coach Courtenay Carrel … helped North Allegheny win the conference championship … was part of a North Allegheny team that finished second at its first-ever Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) Competitive Spirit Championship … participated with the North Allegheny team that placed 12th at the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Cheerleading Nationals … was a member of the National Honor Society … received the Student-Athlete and Student Excellence awards.

Personal: Physician Assistant major … is the daughter of Liz and Mike … has one sister … is a member of the Gannon University Society of Physician Assistant Students (GUSPAS).
