Expected to compete at 149 or 157 during his first season as a Golden Knight in 2014-15 … comes to Gannon as a graduate student with one year of eligibility remaining after previously wrestling at NCAA Division I Penn State.

At Penn State: Wrestled one season for head coach Cael Sanderson in 2010-11 … finished 7-10 in opens as a 149-pound redshirt … competed with his brother Andrew, who posted a 55-38 career record at 174 and 184 during his four-year career … named to the Penn State Dean’s List six times.

High School: Wrestled for head coaches Tim Simon and Ryan Yates at Fort LeBoeuf (Pa.) High School … served as a team captain during his senior campaign … finished 29-5 as a senior, placing second at the District 10 championships after being injured in the finals … was a state qualifier as a junior … finished third in the Northwest Region and District 10 championships during his junior season … helped Fort LeBoeuf win the State AA Championship as a senior … graduated as Fort LeBoeuf’s Valedictorian.

Personal: Enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering Master’s program … has four brothers … is the son of Debbie and Tom.
