Expected to compete in freestyle events … holds the school record in the 50-yard freestyle (23.89) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:52.26) … broke the school’s 100-yard freestyle record (52.16), before it was broken again last season … was part of relay teams that own school records in the 200-yard freestyle (1:35.84), the 400-yard freestyle (3:29.44), the 800-yard freestyle (7:42.28), the 200-medley (1:46.64) and the 400-yard medley (3:55.56) … has advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championships the last three seasons … was a member of the Gannon water polo team in past seasons.

2010-11: Named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete for the third consecutive season … received the Division II Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Award … earned All-PSAC accolades as an individual in the 200-yard freestyle and as part of Gannon’s 400-yard freestyle relay team … was one of five Lady Knights to swim at the NCAA Division II National Championships … finished 17th at the national championships in the 200-yard freestyle (1:53.07), 30th in the 100-yard freestyle (52.65) and 38th in the 50-yard freestyle (24.17) … recorded NCAA “B” cut times in the 50-yard freestyle, the 100-yard freestyle and the 200-yard freestyle … produced 16 PSAC-qualifying times during the regular season … led the team with 17 top-three finishes, including seven individual championships … broke school records during the PSAC Championships in the 50-yard freestyle (23.89) and the 200-yard freestyle (1:52.26) … was part of relay teams that broke school records at the conference championships in the 200-yard freestyle (1:35.84), 400-yard freestyle (3:29.44), 800-yard freestyle (7:42.28) and 400-yard medley (3:55.56) … swam with the 200-yard medley relay team that broke the school record during the regular season with a time of one minute and 46.64 seconds … helped Gannon break the Westminster (Pa.) Relay Meet records while finishing first in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:40.19) and the 800-yard freestyle (8:08.73) .

2009-10: Was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … earned All-PSAC honors as part of the 200-yard freestyle relay team, which finished third at the PSAC Championships … qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships as a member of the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle teams, as well as in the 50-yard, 100-yard and 200-yard freestyle individual events … earned all-america honors as a member of the 200-yard and 400-yard freestyle relay teams.

2008-09: Named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championships as part of the 400-medley relay team … named a Scholar All-American by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a true freshman.

High School: Swam for head coaches Gord Sprung and Karen Hillis at Holy Trinity Catholic (Ontario) Secondary School … was a four-time Swimmer of the Year … broke 15 club records as a senior … was a senior provincial qualifier and age group national finalist … was a member of the honor roll.

Personal: Occupational Therapy major … has one brother … daughter of Cindy and Dave.
