2015: Phillips returns as one of Gannon’s starting defensive backs … enters the 2015 campaign 19th all-time at Gannon with 210 career tackles.

2014: Started every game … was Gannon’s third-leading tackler with 71 stops … finished second on the team in solo tackles (31), third in assisted tackles (40) and eighth in tackles for a loss (3.5) … tied for the team lead in pass break-ups (6) … recorded at least three tackles in every game … reached double figures in back-to-back games against Slippery Rock and Mercyhurst, producing a season-high 12 tackles in both contests … had six solo tackles at Slippery Rock, before recording a season-high seven solo tackles the next week against Mercyhurst … wrapped up nine ball carriers against Indiana (Pa.), including six via the solo variety … caused 2.5 tackles for a loss against the Crimson Hawks … recorded at least six tackles in a game seven times … broke up at least one pass in a game five times.

2012: Started every game … led Gannon in total tackles (96) and assisted tackles (56) … recorded the 11th-highest single-season tackle total in school history … ranked fourth among PSAC players in tackles per game (8.7), 18th in solo tackles (40), 24th in interceptions (2) and 36th in passes defended per game (0.55) … finished 90th among all NCAA Division II players in tackles per game … recorded a season-high 17 tackles at Bloomsburg, representing the third-highest single-game total in school history … fell only three tackles shy of the school record against the Huskies … reached double digits in tackles four times … made 12 tackles against Indiana (Pa.) and Mercyhurst … added 11 stops against California (Pa.) … posted a season-high seven solo tackles at Edinboro … recorded at least three tackles in every game … averaged 10.9 tackles during the final seven contests … intercepted passes in back-to-back games against Lock Haven and Indiana (Pa.).

2011: Played in every game as a true freshman, starting eight … was Gannon’s eighth-leading tackler with 43 stops … ranked second on the team in pass break-ups (5) … recorded six tackles during the season opener at Lake Erie … made a season-high 10 tackles at California (Pa.), including a season-high eight solo stops … recorded at least one tackle during 10 of 11 contests … had at least five tackles in a game five times … intercepted his first two career passes during a victory against Lock Haven … recorded his first career tackle for a loss at Indiana (Pa.), resulting in a nine-yard loss … broke up two passes during a victory at Mercyhurst.
