Biography

Jacobs returns as one of Gannon’s leading scorers in 2014 … enters her senior campaign third all-time at Gannon in assists (106), sixth in goals (121), eighth in earned kickouts (87) and 12th in steals (131).

2013: Named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete … landed a spot on the All-Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Western Division second team … named to the Division II Eastern Championship All-Tournament Team after recording five assists, three steals and two goals during a pair of victories against Notre Dame (Ohio) (10-6) and Mercyhurst (10-9) … earned CWPA Western Division Player of the Week honors twice (March 13/March 20) … named CWPA Western Division Defensive Player of the Week on March 13 … led Gannon in goals (60), assists (51) and steals (54) … recorded the second-highest single-season assist total in school history, finishing one shy of the school record … produced the eighth-highest single-season goal total, the 12th-highest single-season steal total and the 19th-highest single-season earned kickout total in school history … began the season by dishing out three assists during a 16-6 victory against Salem International … recorded nine hat tricks, including a season-best six goals three times … reached the six-goal plateau against NCAA Division I Siena, as well as during victories against Grove City (9-6) and Penn State Behrend (22-7) … produced five goals during a 15-9 victory against Grove City and later against Connecticut College at the CWPA Eastern Championships … added four goals against NCAA Division I opponents VMI and Siena … scored multiple goals in a match 12 times … had at least two assists in a match 15 times, including a season-high four during a 14-12 victory against NCAA Division I St. Francis (N.Y.) and a 15-9 win against Grove City … earned multiple kickouts in a match six times … recorded a season-best five earned kickouts against NCAA Division I Michigan … added three earned kickouts during an 11-5 victory against Notre Dame (Ohio) and later against Connecticut College at the CWPA Eastern Championships … produced at least three steals in a match four times, including a season-high eight during an 8-7 victory against Notre Dame (Ohio) at the CWPA Eastern Championships … had four steals against Mercyhurst … won her only two sprint-offs of the season during a 22-7 win against Penn State Behrend.

2012: Named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award … named to the CWPA Academic Superior Squad, reserved for water polo student-athletes with a grade point average between 3.41 and 3.7 … dished out 39 assists, the second-highest single-season total in school history behind only teammate Colleen Harriger’s total of 52 set the same year … recorded 34 earned kickouts, the 11th-highest single-season total in school history … finished second on the team in assists, third in goals (36), fourth in steals (46) and fourth in earned kickouts … had a goal and two steals during the season opener against NCAA Division I Brown … scored multiple goals in a match 10 times … recorded her first hat trick of the season with three scores during an 11-4 victory against Washington & Jefferson, before tallying a season-high four goals during a 10-6 win against Grove City in the team’s next contest … earned a season-high four kickouts against Cal State-San Bernardino and Mercyhurst … dished out a season-high four assists and earned three kickouts during a 13-5 victory against Notre Dame (Ohio) … added three assists against Chapman and Mercyhurst … recorded a season-best three steals during back-to-back matches against Cal Lutheran and Mercyhurst … tied her season-best in steals four more times later in the season … had at least three earned kickouts during a match three times.

2011: Was Gannon’s third-leading scorer, netting 25 goals as a true freshman … named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … recorded 25 earned kickouts, the 15th-highest single-season total in school history … was one of two Lady Knights to reach double digits in goals during the first quarter, ending the season with 10 … finished second on the team in steals (31), third in earned kickouts and third in assists (16) … scored her first two career goals against NCAA Division I Siena … produced her first career hat trick with three scores during an 8-7 victory against Grove City … added another hat trick during a 12-6 win against Notre Dame (Ohio) … earned a season-high three kickouts against Mercyhurst twice and Grove City once … had a season-high five steals against Grove City … recorded at least three steals in a match four times … produced five multiple-goal performances.

High School: Played for head coach Lynn Castro at Lyons Township (Ill.)
