Watson is expected to compete for playing time at quarterback … is also a member of Gannon’s baseball team, producing a 4.26 earned run average in six relief appearances during the 2013 season.

2012: Did not play.

2011: Played in eight games, starting two … named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … started consecutive games against California (Pa.) and Lock Haven midway through the season … finished 15-of-28 for 155 yards during his first starting assignment at Cal … recorded season-highs in completions, attempts and yards against the Vulcans … completed five passes for 57 yards and one touchdown during his second start against Lock Haven … came off the bench at Clarion, going 7-of-14 for 124 yards and a touchdown.

2010: Redshirted.

High School: Played for head coach Bob Mihalik at Aurora (Ohio) High School ... was a three-sport athlete, earning all-conference honors in football, basketball and baseball ... helped Aurora win the 2008 Division III state football title ... was part of team that won two summer baseball state championships ... named to the honor and merit rolls.

Personal: Pre-Med major ... has one brother ... is the son of Heather and Doug.
