LOCK HAVEN, Pa.  — Gannon men's soccer's Per Kristian Lauvstad (Nesoya, Norway) and Jensen Peake (Staffordshire, England/Friary) have earned Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West Athlete of the Week honors following a pair of conference victories for the Golden Knights.

Lauvstad was named PSAC West Co-Offensive Athlete of the Week, sharing the honor with California (Pa.)'s Ryan Moessner, while Peake earned PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week recognition.

The honors are the first of the season for both student-athletes and bring Gannon's total to three PSAC West weekly awards this season.

Lauvstad led Gannon's offensive attack with four goals and one assist for nine points in victories over Lock Haven on Wednesday and Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday. He finished the week with seven shots, including five on goal.

Lauvstad also recorded a game-winning goal as the Golden Knights outscored their opponents 12-1 across the two matches.

Peake anchored Gannon's defense during the 2-0 week, helping the Golden Knights record a shutout and limit their opponents to just one goal and 15 shots across the two contests.

The defender started both matches and helped Gannon hold its opponents to seven shots on goal. Peake also contributed offensively with two assists as the Golden Knights remained unbeaten in PSAC West play.
