ERIE, Pa. – Gannon men's soccer put together an offensive outburst Saturday night, scoring nine times in the opening half on the way to a 9-0 victory over Pitt-Johnstown at McConnell Family Stadium.
The Golden Knights improved to 6-1-1 overall and 2-0-0 in conference play, while Pitt-Johnstown fell to 1-5-0 and 0-2-0. Gannon finished with a 31-5 advantage in shots, including a 20-3 edge in shots on goal, while holding 71 percent of the possession.
Rafa Hyde (São José dos Campos, Brazil/Objetivo Aquarius) opened the scoring just 1:05 into the match off an assist from Per Kristian Lauvstad (Nesoya, Norway).
