NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced its 2026 Division II Academic Honor Roll, with eight members of the Gannon women's lacrosse team earning recognition for their success in the classroom.
For the 2025-26 academic year, the IWLCA recognized 568 student-athletes from 65 Division II institutions on its Academic Honor Roll.
Institutions may nominate an unlimited number of qualified student-athletes who meet the award criteria.
The IWLCA Academic Honor Roll recognizes junior, senior, and graduate student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence both on the field and in the classroom throughout their collegiate careers.
To be eligible for the Division II Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be in good academic standing, maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, and meet all athletic eligibility requirements.
Gannon's eight honorees included seniors
Alyssa Lerch (Coraopolis, Pa./Moon Area) and
Kayla Thompson (Patchogue, N.Y./Patchogue-Medford), juniors
Morgan Allardi (Roanoke, Va./Cave Spring),
Madi Kivitt (Coral Springs, Fla./American Heritage School),
Megan Lang (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy),
Aubrey Skerlong (Allison Park, Pa./Shaler), and
Kirsten Slinkard (Cary, N.C./Panther Creek), along with graduate student
Haleigh Manning (Milton, Ga./Cambridge).
