ERIE, PA - Gannon's Alexandria LeCureux (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) (Women's Golf) and Rasmus Seppanen (Bastad, Sweden/Akademi Bastad Gymnasium) (Men's Golf) have been named the Gannon Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of April 27th. 

LeCureux captured the PSAC individual women's golf championship on Friday, shooting a one-over 73 in the final round to claim the title. She came back from a three stroke deficit heading into the final 18 holes and was 11 over par for the tournament. The win comes off the back off a third place tie for LeCureux a year ago. Gannon won their seventh consecutive team championship in conference this year. 

Seppanen continues to be a consistent factor in the Golden Knights lineup heading into regional play. The Swede took 12th place, the highest Gannon finisher, at the Bedford Spring Invite in Johnstown, PA this past week. His final score of four over par was bolstered by an even par 35 finish on the final nine holes of the tournament. Gannon will prepare for the Atlantic/East regional next week.
