DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — The Gannon University Competitive Cheer & Dance team continued competition Friday at the NCA & NDA Collegiate Nationals, as the Golden Knights saw their Hip-Hop squad advance to finals while Team Performance wrapped up competition with a fifth-place finish.

Kelli Makowski's Team Performance and Hip-Hop teams competed inside the Ocean Center Exhibit Hall, delivering solid routines against a competitive national field.
All three of Gannon's teams advanced to finals in their respective divisions, with the Game Day team qualifying during Thursday's preliminary round.
The Golden Knights finished tied for fifth in the Division II Hip-Hop prelims with a score of 88.057. With the result, Gannon advances to the Hip-Hop finals set for Saturday, April 11, at 9:35 a.m. inside the Ocean Center Exhibit Hall.
Gannon posted an 8.78 in performance impression and an 8.70 in choreography during its routine.
