ERIE, Pa. – The Gannon softball team split its PSAC opening doubleheader against Clarion on Saturday afternoon at McConnell Family Stadium, earning a 10–4 win in game one before falling 4–3 in game two.
Gannon used a big fourth inning to pull away in the opener, scoring five runs to take control of the game. The Golden Knights added two more runs in the fifth and one in the sixth to secure the win.
Jenna Clontz (Kittanning, Pa./Armstrong) led the offensive effort, going 2-for-3 with a home run, a triple, and four RBI.
