KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The list of candidates for the Bevo Francis Award has been paired down to the Top 25 and among those players listed is Gannon University's Pace Prosser (Berlin, Pa./Berlin Brothersvalley).

The National Awards Committee and Small College Basketball announced the Bevo Francis Top 25 Watch List today.
The list consists of the top players from NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, NAIA, USCAA and NCCAA.

The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball. Considerations include season statistics and individual achievements, awards, personal character and team achievements. It is an incredibly prestigious award, as this award will only be given to one player within Small College Basketball per season. 2026 marks the tenth year of the Bevo Francis Award.

Prosser is a 6-foot-2 sophomore from Berlin, Pa. After an outstanding freshman campaign that saw him earn second team All-PSAC West honors and named the PSAC Tournament Most Valuable Player, Prosser has picked up where he left off. He was recently named to the All-PSAC West first team.

Prosser typically stuffs the stat sheet each game, leading the team in scoring, assists and steals while ranking among the leaders in rebounds. He has the ability to knife to the basket or bomb away from beyond the arc along with finding a teammate with a pinpoint pass.

After averaging 14.4 ppg. a year he has boosted that figure to 17.8 ppg. while adding 5.2 rpg., tied for the team lead. Prosser is second on the team in assists (142) while leading the Golden Knights in steals (70) and committing just 58 turnovers. He is also a deadly free throw shooter at 88.0 percent (110-of-125), the top figure in the PSAC. He is tied for second in the conference in steals per game (2.2), tied for seventh in assists per game (4.4), and third in assist/turnover ratio (2.4). He also leads the team in 3-pointers with 67 in 217 attempts.

Prosser recently reached 1,000 points for his career and has boosted his total to 1,054 points. He became just the fourth Gannon player to score 1,000 career points in his first two seasons. He has scored 569 points this season, a figure which ranks tenth in a season.
